HangPass helps friends get together. We keep as little as we can, only for hangs, and we never sell it.

What we keep

What you type: first name, and mobile or email if you add them.
Your answers (in, can't, check-ins) and when you gave them.
Friends a guest suggests to the host (name and mobile).
A random ID on your phone so it remembers you. Your phone also saves your name and number to fill in next time.
A guest's email is optional, used only for that hang's updates, and the host doesn't see it.

The host of that hang sees your name, number and answer.
HangPass (Thomas Lund, who runs it) can see everything, to keep it running and safe.
Other guests see first names or just a count, as the host chooses. Home addresses show only to guests who are in.
A passed spot shows the friend's first name to the host, plus their mobile on invite-only hangs.

No selling, no ads, no tracking cookies. Visit counts use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which has no cookies.
No texts or emails from HangPass to people a guest suggests.
Spot offers and changes show on the page or by email, never by text.
Location is used only when you tap to check in. We keep pass or fail, never where you were.

Use Remove my info in the footer of a guest page, or in Settings under Your info. Removes your name and number from HangPass.

We blank the details and keep the counts. Backup copies made before that can still hold them until they're cleared.
